LED Systems

Due to increasing demand from clients and customers, All Custom Closets, a company dedicated to maintaining their position at the bleeding edge of closet technology, has developed their own unique LED systems, for the exclusive use in their own systems. A significant amount of research has gone into finding the highest quality components, as well as developing sophisticated techniques for maintaining a clean, “wireless” look, reflective of the latest advances in wireless technology evident around us. Each system gets individually tested throughout every step of the production process, producing a system that should provide a long period of useful service, possibly outlasting the closet itself.

Our LED systems consist of a primary component, a recessed aluminum channel fixture and frosted diffuser, installed flush with the surface of our melamine, which is suitable for all vertical partitions, and fixed shelves. Clever engineering, custom harness fabrication, and careful location of the wiring details inside partitions and shelves allows us to completely hide all wiring out of sight. There are occasions where lighting on adjustable shelves is desirable as well, and we can integrate a system of recessed tracks (similar to track lighting), which has a toolless interface with the adjustable shelving.

Additionally, we have developed a system for the use of Hafele’s lighted poles, allowing those to be installed in a similarly “wireless” fashion. There are a multitude of applications for integrated LED lighting, and we have adapted to meet those. For areas where lighting behind cabinet doors is desired, we can offer a hall effect switch (hidden inside the partition), which triggers the lights on and off as the door is opened and closed. All LEDs can be controlled with a single dimmer switch mounted at the entrance. Further, we also offer two different temperatures of lighting, a warm 2800K glow for closet interiors, as well as a bright white 5500K for discrete task lighting in work areas. Regardless of which color range you desire, our system outputs 361 lumens per foot.

When our closet installation is complete, the final hookup becomes a simple matter for the jobsite electrician. We produce wiring diagrams, and specific locations for the house current, and the electrician simply hooks into our own transformers. And wires our dimmer into his existing wall switch box… our installers will have already prepared all the other required hookups.
